Just thought it could be done with IP phone on it's own, but have not found a good step by step config for the watchguard that helped. One solution we came up with was to implement a small watchguard at customers home and let watchguard create VPN tunnel then plug IP phone in. So we put a hold on setup till we can figure it out.

We were working on setting up VPN but then they informed me that the 9608 phone would need to download a mobile VPN file of sorts and I have never had to do that if even possible? Was never able to enter IKE and PSK witch I thought that was all I had to do. I have no control over admin of watchguard. One solution we came up with was to implement a small watchguard at customers home and let watchguard create VPN tunnel then plug IP phone in. The customer has an outside IT vender witch we have been working with. The phone connects locally just fine, issue is when VPN is turned on in phone I get to IKE ID and PSK screen. Why does the ASA show a timeout when in fact there is a response? And why is one phone confirmed connected to the VPN but not passing traffic? (I've actually confirmed a couple of phones are like this.Well I should elaborate a bit more, first of all the proper hardware and licenses are in place.

The user is using a Netgear c6300 router with Xfinity as his ISP. if i connect 5th phone it is not connecting and if i try to connect cisco vpn client also not connecting with same username and password. and i used these vpn client to connect avaya vpn hard phones and i connected 4 phones using same username and password. Sometimes when the phone drops, he will get VPN Tunnel failure. i configured asa 5505 with remote vpn client. 7, 8, and 9 are from my machine as well but they timeout. We have been having random drops for a user using an Avaya 9611 VPN phone connecting via IPSEC remote access. Ping 5 is from my machine and it showed a reply. From the above output pings 1 and 3 came from the firewall directly. I added routes internally to allow traffic to this firewall from my workstation, so I can ping from there instead of the firewall. Mariusz Bochen suggested pinging from inside the network but the network wasn't setup to allow that.
